Behind Our Appearance on ITV1's Love Your Weekend with Alan Titchmarsh
There are moments in business that feel a bit bigger than you expect them to. Our appearance on ITV1’s Love Your Weekend with Alan Titchmarsh was one of those moments. It came as part of a wonderful segment celebrating British winemaking alongside the brilliant Toni Osoba and featured our blackcurrant wine.
For a small independent producer, seeing something you have created appear on national television is both exciting and slightly surreal. More than anything, it was a moment of gratitude. Gratitude for how far things had come and for everyone who had helped us along the way.

A Moment Shared on National Television
When we first started making fruit wine, the focus was simple. We wanted to create something enjoyable, approachable and full of flavour, something people could share without it feeling complicated or intimidating. We never set out with television in mind so being included in a programme like Love Your Weekend with Alan Titchmarsh felt incredibly special.
The segment itself was a celebration of British winemaking and independent producers which made it even more meaningful. To see our Blackcurrant Wine featured alongside other British makers was a proud moment, not just for the product but for the journey behind it.
Watching it air on ITV1, we felt a mix of excitement and disbelief. It is not every day that something you have built from the ground up appears on national television. It was a reminder that even small ideas can grow in ways you do not always anticipate.
Built on Support, Not Just Product
If there is one thing this experience highlighted more than anything, it is that none of it happens alone.
From the very beginning, this business has been shaped by people who believed in it. Friends who offered early encouragement, customers who took a chance on something new, stockists who gave us a place on their shelves and everyone who shared a can, recommended us or simply said they enjoyed what we were doing.
That support meant everything. It carried us through the early days and continues to do so now. Seeing our Blackcurrant Wine on national television felt like a reflection of that wider community rather than just a standalone achievement.
We are genuinely grateful to everyone who has been part of that journey. It is easy to focus on products and milestones but moments like this remind us that the real foundation is people.
A Quietly Proud Moment and What Comes Next
In the run-up to the broadcast there was plenty of excitement and a fair bit of joking about “before we get too famous”. When it aired it felt like a quiet but meaningful moment for us. We were still the same team doing the same work just taking it all in with a bit more appreciation than usual.
What stood out most was perspective. It is easy when you are focused on the day-to-day of building something to overlook how far things have come. Seeing our Blackcurrant Wine featured on Love Your Weekend with Alan Titchmarsh brought that into focus in a very real way.
More than anything it was a moment to say thank you. To everyone who has supported us, tasted our wines, shared them with others or simply followed along we are incredibly grateful.
It was a milestone we will always remember not because it changed who we are but because it reflected the journey we have taken together. And while we are proud of it we are just as focused on what comes next, continuing to build something worth sharing, one step at a time.
