Wine That's Fruit is a family-run business, making fruit wine from locally sourced produce helping support the community in Herefordshire, United Kingdom.
Vision
To redefine the world of wine.... one can at a time!
Not all wine has to be the same - we endeavour to break the mould and bring on a new era of fruit wine, whilst serving the UK.
Mission
To make a fruit wine that can be enjoyed by everyone while creating an ethical and responsible company, both socially and ecologically. We aim to support our community wherever possible and achieve carbon net zero by 2025.
Our Journey
September 2019
WTF, Wine That's Fruit to you, was established as an enterprise late in 2019.
November 2019
Peter, the founder, built a winery in his garden and equipped it to make the equivalent of 1200 bottles of wine.
July 2020
We hand-picked fruits sourced locally, from farms in and around the heart of Hampshire in the UK.
Aug 2020
We experimented by making over 30 variations of wine from recipes we researched and developed.
March 2021
Then we conducted taste testing with over 200 participants, to hear what they had to say about our wines and see which they liked the most!
April 2021
The most popular choices from the participants were Apple. Strawberry. Whitecurrant. and Blackcurrant. We knew what we had to do...
June 2021
We teamed up with expert partners, Haygrove Evolution, to help develop and make our first production batches!
September 2021
Manufacturing begins, Wine That's Fruit here we come!
October 2021
We developed the brand and eco-friendly packaging, minimising our carbon footprint.
August 2022
The wines are canned, sealed and beautifully labelled, ready for launch!
Why the can?
When setting up WTF we did extensive research into the most environmentally friendly packaging for our wines. Not only that, we endeavoured to find eco-friendly packaging that would keep our wine fresher for longer.
